The Western Sydney Rugby League Academy (WSRLA) will resume on Tuesday, 31st of January 2023. The academy in the 2023 season will be led by our newly appointed Head Coaches, Troy Weeden / Luke Vella from Apex Rugby League Acedemy
Troy has over 20 years of Rugby League experience in coaching, recruitment, pathways, and coach education across three NRL clubs (Canberra Raiders, St George-Illawarra Dragons and his current club, the Wests Tigers) and two Sports High schools. He is currently the Head of Rugby League at Westfields Sports High School.
Luke currently coaches the Bulldogs Jersey Flegg team after stints as an assistant in many of their representative teams. He is also a member of the Westfields Sports High School coaching staff. He has previously coached the NSW 16s Pathways team.
