Covid-19 Information

This page has been set up to help members, parents, players and supporters of Bankstown Bulls Junior Rugby League Football Club with our Covid-19 Safety Plan.

Bankstown Bulls JRLFC put together a plan in mid-March prior to the lockdown. Our club was ahead of the pack and ahead of the game when putting safety plans together. We have put safety measures in place, but at the same time believe that players need to be training and games must be going ahead. Our primary focus is providing an environment that allows our players to do what they enjoy doing most – playing the game.

CURRENT: Bankstown Bulls JRLFC Covid-19 Update issued 23/07/2020

The update issued on 23/07/2020 relates to section 1.1 on the original plan to include individuals that have traveled to Victoria in the previous 14 days and individuals that have attended any of the declared ‘hot spot’ case locations listed on the NSW Health website. And on game days the entry of spectators is limited to one(1) parent/caregiver per player if practical.

In providing a safe environment for training sessions our club has outlaid plenty of dollars and resources into providing sanitising areas at both Padstow Park and Ruse Park. We have carefully designed our training sessions up between both venues across 3 days to ensure an even spread space at training.

We recommend that all players enter no earlier than 10 minutes before the starting time and exit no later than 10 minutes after the finishing time. We also recommend that no more than one(1) parent/carer is allowed to enter either venue with the player for both training and games to ensure safe social distancing and the focus being on our players playing the game.
