The Bankstown Bulls are very happy to announce the appointment of Jason Amos to the positions of Coaching Director of the Bulls and Head Coach of A Grade for the 2021 rugby League season.
Jason will also head up the new Western Sydney Rugby League Academy commencing in October 2020. Jason brings vast experience to the club, having spent 2 years as a development coach at the Melbourne Storm, and a preseason stint with the Roosters development program in 2018. He was head coach and won the South Sydney Competition A Grade premiership in 2019 with the Coogee Randwick side. Other roles include various coaching and sports medicine roles with the Wallabies, QLD Reds, Melbourne Rebels and the Wynnum Manly Seagulls in the QLD Cup.
A message from Jason: “I am here to help develop future champions at this wonderful family club. After giving away top level sport, I really wanted to give back to grass roots, after all grass roots gave me my start as a player many years ago. I want every child, male or female and regardless of athletic ability, to develop, learn and enjoy this great game of rugby league. I want success for all involved at the Bulls, I want to also deliver the club an A Grade premiership that we can all enjoy. Lets all work together and make this happen.”
Please welcome Jason to the Mighty Bulls! Stay tuned for information on the Academy and junior holiday programs.
