From the NSWRL:
“The originally communicated “Return to Rugby League Activity” date remains, at this point July 1st, with a “Return to Competition” date of July 18th. These dates are still subject to review on June 1st. Whilst announcements have been made for changes to social gathering guidelines taking effect on Friday 15th May, the NSWRL position has not changed in relation to COVID-19 and a return to sanctioned club training sessions. Simply, clubs and teams are not permitted to return to sanctioned training sessions at this point. We understand that things evolve on a daily basis, and we continue to keep ourselves updated with related news and direct advice from Government.”
A few ideas have been put forward by the NSWRL and CBDJRL about the competition structure when the game resumes for the 2020 season.
If you have some feedback on how long you think the competition should be and the formats of it all please send an email to secretary@bankstownbulls.com and we will forward them onto the CBDJRL and NSWRL.
The management, coaches and team officials at Bankstown Bulls are committed to a safe and healthy return when given the green light. We also acknowledge the mental health impact being isolated has caused for many and will be encouraging the Junior League authorities to extend the season as much as possible to maximise on what has been lost.
